This piece was intended to depict the inability to run away that sometimes occurs in nightmares. The stretchy fabric that is staked into the ground yanking me back down to the ground as I struggle to run away.
The setting you chose for this piece and the fact that you were able to light it even though it's clearly nighttime works wonderfully. I wish that there was more of a progression from image to image and that your legs were less distinguishable. I want you to be swallowed up a little bit more I think.
