With this wearable, my intention was to portray the humor in the difference between mating rituals of humans versus birds. In our society, women are supposed to be the prettier sex and wear makeup to emphasize that. In contrast, the male birds are often much more beautiful and use their vibrant colors to attract mates.

Form Alteration

Assignment: Alter the human form using small amount of muslin.

I created large, puffy elbows so that i would not be able to rest my arms against my sides.

Quickie #3: Make a quickie that enhances the function of a body or a body part. 

I made buttons that can be pressed to improve the use of one's hand. Speed, strength and precision buttons would all be very useful to any person, especially someone who works with their hands.

Assignment: Make a quickie that alters a body or body part to become "ideal" or non-ideal.

I decided that one could be ideal when seen through a lover's eyes.
